A SOLDIERS DIARY

This site is my attempt to publish my brother,Frank Hiltons'diaries.He wrote them while serving in the Sherwood Rangers Yeomany in the Middle East.The first one chronicles his journey from Brocklesby to Haifa in Palestine. The other two cover the whole of 1941 and part of 1942.He also took many photographs some of which are also included on this site.Some of the writing and spelling needs a little understanding, and some parts are not quite "politically correct", but I think they make fascinating reading.
